Welcome to the 1st International Symposium on the Nitrogen Nutrition of Plants
Nitrogen2010 is the first international symposium to be held after the merger of the European Nitrate and Ammonium Assimilation Group (ENAAG) and the Nitrate Assimilation: Molecular and Genetic Aspect (NAMGA) Group. The most recent joint symposium of these two groups was in Lancaster (2007) as the first trial. The great success of the joint meeting in 2007 resulted in the decision to form a new group from ENAAG and NAMGA.
Nitrogen2010 will be organized by Tomoyuki Yamaya (Tohoku University) with two co-organizers Tatsuo Omata (Nagoya University) and Hitoshi Sakakibara (PSC, RIKEN).
The meeting will be held at Inuyama International Sightseeing Center, Aichi prefecture, Japan, which is located about one hr north of Chubu International Airport.
