Terahertz Optical and Food Engineering
Introduction
Terahertz-wave (THz-wave), which is the electro-magnetic wave between infrared and microwave, is unclear region even now. From recent basic research THz-wave technique is recognized as a new frontier fi eld. We are interested in the non-destructive monitoring with THz-wave and the creating with high hydrostatic pressure on the field of food science, technology, and engineering. The control of food processing is not easy, because many food materials are multicomponent, heterogeneous, and structured systems, We are carrying out the research “watch and create” for the health of human being and circumstances.
