‒International Student and Resident Community Exchange Pilot Project ‒

Sendai City is currently recruiting international students, researchers, and their accompanying family members who wish to take part in local activities and deepen their connections with the people of Sendai.

Application

■ Eligibility (applicants must meet all of the following conditions): 
①Must be a foreign national resident of Sendai City aged 16 or older. 
②Must be either an international student, a researcher, or a researcher’s accompanying family member.
③ Must have permission for “activities outside of your visa status”.   
■ Details of the Activities:
Activity lasts about 2 hours (some may involve multiple sessions in succession).  For each activity, participants will receive a QUO card worth 3,500 yen.  In some activities, you may bring small children with you.
■ Important Notes :
Even if you register, you may not always be able to take part in your preferred activity.  Photos and videos of activities may be taken and used in Sendai City’s publicity materials.  Cancellations without notice or unexplained absences are not allowed.  Personal information will be properly managed by the secretariat.
