Regarding the September 2023 degree confirming ceremony (commencement) for Tohoku University Graduate School of Agricultural Science, Faculty of Agriculture

We are pleased to inform you that ceremony will be carried out as follows.

1. Commencement for Tohoku University Graduate School of Agricultural Science, Faculty of Agriculture
Time: September 25, 2023 (Monday) 3:00PM
Venue: Large Lecture Hall (2nd floor, Aobayama Commons)
Attending Students: September 2023 Degree Awardees
（Undergraduates and Graduates completing degree requirements for April to September 2023）

※The ceremony will be held in English.
※Regarding (2) of the Proceedings, all degrees will be conferred by the Dean.
※Students in attendance must be dressed appropriately for the degree awarding ceremony (formal wear). Student ID card (excluding students continuing in university in Japan) will be collected at the time of reception, so please be sure to bring it with you.
※Students except September 2023 Degree Awardees, supervisors, and the guardians can participate in the ceremony.
※Any awardee who wishes to be absent (or is unable to attend) will still be awarded the degree. Please note, however, that in the event of absence, the degree must be received by a member of the awardee’s lab. As the commencement date is September 25, the degree can’t be distributed in advance of the ceremony.
※The degree awarding ceremony will be conducted in person only and will not be streamed online via Zoom or other means.

2. Following the ceremony, photographs will be taken in front of the sign and flowers adorning the entrance hall.
