  1. Smart Food-chain System

    From 2018, as a representative of the Strategic Innovation Creation Program (SIP) Regional Brand Use Case Demonstration Research, along with experts in gardening, functional molecular analysis, computational chemistry, etc., Strawberry “Sendai-Ichigo” (registered as a regional collective trademark in 2012) and Miyagi We are working on a demonstration project that contributes to a 10% reduction in food loss by developing a non-destructive analysis system that grasps changes in freshness from the farm to table of paprika produced in the prefecture in real time and a supply-demand matching system for each. .. In addition, he participated in the “Demonstration of smart agricultural production system in direct sales type orchard management by companies” of the smart agriculture demonstration project (Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries) as a coordinator, and worked robots in direct sales type orchard management of companies practicing smart agriculture. From an economic point of view, we are analyzing the reduction of working hours and the improvement of productivity by producing high-quality fruit trees.

Especially in the age of 100 years of life, it is necessary to create a mechanism that contributes to the extension of healthy life expectancy in rural life. By introducing labor-saving agriculture utilizing information and communication technology (ICT), it is not difficult for people in their 70s and 80s who have retired from the front line to be involved in agriculture for about 1 to 2 hours a day. It is said that agriculture has the function of making the mind and body of those engaged in health. It is important for young farmers to work on the mechanism with their colleagues and get it on track as a business.
