Career	Graduated from the Department of Animal Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Tohoku University, and worked as an assistant professor at the Graduate School of Agricultural Science, Tohoku University. After then, I worked as an associate professor and professor at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology before the current position.

We are concerned with the identification of nutritional characteristics in several animal species with aid of comparative biochemistry. Nutritional regulation of metabolism and the physiological function of nutrients are also studied at the whole body, cell, organelle and gene levels in farm animals. These studies will improve productivity and healthy in livestock and poultry.
