Non-Degree Students
If you are interested in enrolling as a Research Student or an Auditing Student, please contact the faculty member of your desired field of study/laboratory. Upon gaining provisional approval, please refer to the following application guide and submit the required documents by the deadline.
*Important Notice: In principle, International students who wish to be enrolled as a full-time degree seeking student in the Masters or Doctoral program, are required to first enroll as research students for six months, in order to be eligible to apply for the admissions for the Masters and Doctoral program.
– Research Students
Applicants who wish to enroll as research students will be granted admission based on the consideration of the admissions committee.
Please refer to the application guide and submit the documents by the deadline.

* Those who reside outside of Japan and want to pay the examination fee by online by using credit card, please be sure to contact the Student Affairs Section, Faculty of Agriculture/ Graduate School of Agricultural Science, Tohoku University by email.

– Auditing Students
Applicants who wish to audit one or several specific courses, will be granted admission based on the consideration of the admissions committee. This will be on the basis that no interference with the course taking of full time students are ensured.
